FAQ's: Can I keep the same teacher and class time permanently?

In short, yes - as far as humanly possible! 

When enrolling, we book an initial trial class for your child. This is payable as a one-off fee. Once you’ve had your trial class, we’ll ask you to confirm and commit going forwards. You will keep the same class - the same teacher, location, group size as you had in your trial session. 

Children then can attend that class time indefinitely, moving up the grades as they progress up the school years. We encourage children where possible to stay with the same teacher, and build a lasting relationship of personalised coaching. 

Of course your timetable and commitments change over time, so if you find the class time is not working for you, do speak with us and we’ll be happy to try to find an alternative for you. 

A note on our teachers

We make every effort to provide you with fantastic teachers who are committed to helping your child on their journey, hopefully for many years to come. Naturally, I can never promise that you'll have the same teacher forever. The nature of the business is one where freelance professionals give the teaching time they have, around their other professional and personal commitments. Such as with all things in life, this does mean sometimes there are inevitably changes and teachers may move on to new professional projects, to have children of their own, and so forth. We have been very proud to cultivate a truly incredible team over the years, and have seen many teachers go on to become Heads of Drama Departments at prestigious schools and other fantastic opportunities on the back of their time with RM Drama. 

Whenever we recruit, we always emphasise that we are looking for teachers who can come on board long term and we want that connection with the pupils to be long lasting. We spend a long time training and building the relationship with each teacher- often over several terms - before they are given students of their own. All of our teachers are wonderful, kind and motivating people whose professional experience results in our pupils getting a very rich and inspirational platform from which to learn.  We hope you’ll have the good fortune to be with your teacher, from trial to graduation and have a long and fruitful relationship over many years. But in the event we do need to change your teacher, you can rely on us to always provide high quality, dedicated professionals.
