A huge congratulations to our wonderful cast from QE Boys who today performed a fantastic production of Hamlet.
Today is the Shakespeare Schools Festival, which is being run remotely this year, and we've adapted this year's production to be made up from the Year 9 boys, to allow us to keep to the current bubbles. Today the talented cast have performed an adapted production to a wider Year 9 audience, which will be streamed as part of the SSF's celebration this evening.
The boys delivered a brilliant show, conveying the tension of Shakespeare's masterpiece with great energy and skill. Our lovely teacher and director, Gavin Molloy said "I'm so proud of the boys, taking on this epic story and really making it their own'.
Mr Bonham-Carter, QE's Assistant Head commented 'They told the story clearly and it was genuinely moving. Something we all will treasure.'
