LAMDA Masterclasses

Our next series of LAMDA Masterclasses will take place in the May half term, 2023.

These will be intensive half-day courses designed to complement the weekly classes and help boost confidence in performance and public speaking more broadly.

They will also be tailored to encourage students to go the extra mile and hone their skills for their upcoming June/July LAMDA examinations.

Public Speaking Half-Day Masterclass

This half day course will work intensively on public speaking skills. It will begin with a speech writing tutorial and explore structuring your ideas and engaging in rhetorical devices. We will then develop exercises to build confidence in delivering material and understand vocal tone and bodily engagement.

Acting Half Day Masterclass

This half day course will focus on character development and confidence through creativity. We will explore physicality and engage in vocal exercises to enhance characterisation and encourage you to fully inhabit the creative process. We will look at script and students will gain professional insight from our actors in how to work with text. Physical games will encourage confidence in owning the stage and taking control of the dramatic delivery.
